We first started breeding part-bred Arab's with the chestnut stallion Tsar Asif (Harwood Asif/Regal Raylane by Rayalah). Later we purchased three mares Namusa a bay pure-bred by Hassani of Fairfield (Hadassa/Rissani) out of Magic Domina (Fairy Magic/Blue Domino); Fancy Flight a bay anglo-arab by Fancy Shadow (Yavroum/Bright Shadow) out of Eabec (Brown Prune/One Wing); and the black thoroughbred Invisible Justice by Counsel (Court Martial/Wheedler) out of Never Seen (Ennis/Tarquila). They produced some really super foals over the years.

These three foundation mares are no longer with us but Justice's son Sarfraz is here, together with Fancy Flight's daughter Flight of Fantasy and Namusa's daughter Sanam who are both by Sha'baan (Shakhs(imp)/Kasbana). We also purchased two thoroughbred mares, Springside (Brushaside/Springphar by Phardante) and Wacella (Wace/Exocet by Cruise Missile) and an exquisite palomino part-bred filly Ballymaginthy Butterfly (Broomriddings Gabriel/Krysto Midnight Blaze by Asherr). Marguerita, the 2003 filly foal out of Lady Margaret (Sir Harry Lewis/Candarela by Damister (USA)) by Man Among Men (Sadler's Wells(USA)/Tifrums by Thatch(USA) has been retained to join our band of broodmares. We have also purchased the purebred arabian mare Just Me (Vaniti Suits Me (USA)/ Rose Aboud).

Sarfraz out of Invisible Justice by Kasadi is the king-pin of our stud and very much aware of the fact. I will never be able to look at him without a feeling of incredulity that we bred such a magnificent animal and that he has proven himself as such a prepotent sire. He was less than thrilled when we had the purebred Arabian stallion Indian Banner (Silvadoris/Xarifa by Indian Magic) on loan for 2004/5. Banner is a 100% Crabbet stallion and both in-hand and ridden National Champion and he proved very popular. We had a purebred colt and filly by him out of Sanam and two anglo colts out of Wacella and they have his wonderful straight action and elevated paces.

In March 2007 we purchased the magnificent Thoroughbred stallion Heir Apparent (Shirley Heights by Mill Reef/Jammaayil (Ire) by Lomond (USA)).   This lovely horse has the sweetest nature which belies his stature - he stands 16.2hh  with a tremendous shoulder and limbs, a truly superb animal.   We are sure that he will prove popular not only for the racetrack but also for eventing.   Bred by Gainsborough Stud Management, his pedigree speaks for itself .

Over the years we have sold stock into all disciplines and it is always good to hear from satisfied owners and hear of their successes or see their animals perform.
